TEHRAN – Former chief nuclear negotiator has praised the Ahmadinejad administration for its resistance against the West over Iran’s nuclear program.

“The government has resisted very well in some issues, particularly the nuclear issue,” Ali Larijani told a meeting of theology students and teachers from Qom Seminary.
Certain Western countries have put intense pressure on Iran to freeze its nuclear enrichment program. However, Iran as a signatory to the non-proliferation treaty has resisted this illegal demand.
Larijani has decided to run for parliamentary elections from Qom at the request of the seminary teachers
